Hello my name is Sue and I am from north eastern Oregon. My husband and I are empty nesters at a young age and are the parents of two dogs and two cats. Our pets are getting older and the dogs Augie and Riley are getting very grey beards. I would be nice to meet others that love their pets (children) as much as we do.

Welcome Sue! My husband and myself are also empty-nesters at a young age. We always told our girls that we wouldn't miss them when they left because we were going to get a dog....well, our Max came into our lives two months after the last one left!!! We adopted Max at 2 1/2 years old and have had him for 2 years now. We are in love! We also have two geriatric cats at age 15 1/2 and 16 1/2 years.
So tell me, have you found the extra time yet??!!
