Boxer mix...or not?

Hi... this is my first post. I rescued my pup, Heaven from the pound last May. They labeled her a "boxer mix" but she looked 100% Pit Bull to me, and that is what I have always thought of her as... But now that she's growing up, I wonder if she really is half boxer? There's no denying the dominant Pit Bull features, but I don't see very many pits with this fawn color, which is pretty classic for Boxers... and she's much taller than my other APBT. She's not as stocky, she has more of an athletic build.

I know it makes no difference, and I love her no matter what breed she may be... But I was just curious to hear what Boxer enthusiasts had to say. Do you think she's possibly a "Bull Boxer"?

Couple things:

2) LOVE the name Heaven!! That's a great name -

3) Looks to me like you may be right about the mix...What a beautiful baby you have adopted! Love the blue eyes...but those floppy ears look all boxer to me - but I'm no expert! :D

Definately Boxer/Pit mix. How do I know???? We also had one and she looks just like she did and we knew for sure what the mix was. The only thing that our girl had that is different is the eyes, yes your baby's eyes are just beautiful, our baby girls was a light brown almost an amber. Your baby is just a very beautiful girl, thanks so much for sharing the pictures. ;)

She looks like a pit more than anything, ( a lot of pits have droopy lips also ) but blue eyes are not in pits or boxers, unless they are white, than sometimes.... hmmm if she is pit/boxer, she came out looking like a pit

Strikingly beautiful!

She's really lovely. I have a friend who has a pit who's fawn...but Heaven definitely has boxer-ish traits (but I'm a total amature.) I'm curious, maybe someone here knows, is there a DNA test that can definitively say if a pup's part boxer or not? It probably wouldn't be worth the money or effort...just wondering if one exists. Lastly, welcome to Boxerworld!!!!!
