Another one...ugh!

Mugsy has only been in his new home since Friday evening, and got out of a gate that was thought to be closed. He belongs at XXX Brick Landing Rochester NY, and was last seen about an hour ago (7PM 06/27/10) at the corner of Dove Tree and Mill Road.

Mugsy is more apt to run away than run towards a person calling his name.

Mugsy has his AABR Tag on with our toll free number.

I waited a until a little later today to ask for details -

A young woman had seen the flyer a few days ago and been in contact with the owner. She was one her way home last night and caught sight of Mugsy. She managed to coax him into the car and drove him home. That's one phone call you don't mind getting in the middle of the night!

So, yes, getting the word out to anyone and everyone really does work :) His foster Mom was already making plans to fly from Long Island to Rochester over the weekend if he hadn't been found yet.

Whoo Hoo!!! So glad he is safe and sound! So great that the lady that saw him was dog-savvy enough to trust him and get him in the car. She deserves a big applause! Oh, guess she gets the reward too! How nice!

Great news! Thanks for the update.
When a strangers dog is missing I feel as if it is my own, especially when it is a Boxer.
I love reunions!!

Awesome news! We had two recently adopted Boxers from our rescue run off in the last month or so. Both were also found safe. Now I just hope that Boxer “Jessica” in OR is found. That story is breaking my heart. She must be so scared. I feel the same as Susi. I worry about these dogs so much.
