My Sage is an inside dog. She has a doggy door and goes in and out during the day to potty or escape with something she has stolen out of the house.. Hubby's shoe, daughters barbie (Sage only takes Ken outside too!). We wipe her down with baby wipes if it is / or has rained. She gets regular bathes and I don't have a problem with puppy smells...I do use those plug in fan air freshners and they work well. Only problem I have with my baby is shedding. She sheds rather alot so I do alot of sweeping and swiffering.. But she is worth it...
