Boxer in Your Bed?

A boxer, a Lab, a kitty, DH all 6 foot 3 inches and 250 lbs of him and myself. In a queen bed! And I wouldn't have it any other way!

I hate to burst your hopes of solving the problem with space in the bed by purchasing a King Sized bed - been there and done that and sadly it didn't solve the space issue at all - just broke my bank account for the price of the bed.

If your boxers are like mine - no matter how big the bed is - they want to be right up close touching you - thus leaving all sorts of extra bed empty but we are still cramped altogether - too funny really.

I love them dearly and wouldn't change a thing but just needed to raze you about the idea of a King Sized Bed - it simply doesn't help!!!

Harry was *definitely* not to be allowed on the couch or the bed. After he was here for an hour, both of those rules were out the window! He wakes in the night to potty, so it is convenient to have him in bed. Plus he is so sweet and snuggly He also has a crate, which he is learning to like, and two dog beds, which he loves.

Boxers sleeping in Bed

Does anyone else allow their Boxer sleep in their bed? Or used to?

Yes we have a 9 month which is as big as a horse and a 6 month thats getting that way we love our boxers but they think when its time to go to bed its our bed we cant hardly sleep my husband said after Christmas we were going to buy and king size bed But I dont think that will work they have to touch one of us They are crate trained when we work and they cry out lound when we put them in it at night so guess what they are in our bed at night But we love them very much

I said sometimes. They arent allowed (I love them to death but geez they hog the whole bed. Cant even get some sleep at night!!). BUUUUUT Mr. Sneaky aka Harley will get up when we are asleep. Too often I wake up to find him curled in between us.

Spud, the GOOD one, remains curled up, a tiny ball of puppy on that giant dog bed. I think HE's the smart one, hes the only one who ever ends up with an entire bed to himself!!!

I have 2 boxers that LET ME sleep in my bed. they truly are part bed-hogs.

I always go to bed before my DH. Maxwell comes and sleeps with me until DH comes to bed and then he puts Maxwell in his crate.

From day one he slept in our bed. It's weird but we both miss him when he's not sleeping with us...plus the bed is 10times colder without him.

My Kaybie has slept in my bed since the day I brought her home. She likes to snuggle up next to me and always has to be touching me when she sleeps. I wouldn't have it any other way. =)
