Oh yes, one boxer, one boston, and one very cramped, very uncomfortable girl, who always wakes up to a dog butt in her face.

Gee, I wonder why I have no boyfriend?? ;)

Why of course they do, they have us trained so that we have to get them a cookie if we want a spot in the bed.

But there is nothing better than a nice warm cuddly Boxer under your covers in the winter.

Sirus is either:
1st) Sleeping in my bed,
2nd) Sleeping in HIS lazy-boy or,
3rd) Sleeping in James bed.

Those are his preferences in order.

We actually don't let Porter up on any furniture. I considered letting him sleep on the bed, but my 6 year old kitty has always slept with me and I thought that letting that still be hers after bringing home "that dog" :) would help. I truthfully am glad he is not up there with us now. We only have a queen and Porter loves to sprawl out when he sleeps. I also have a white bed, white sheets, duvet, etc... and they would have to be washed constantly if he was up there. He has his own comfy bed in our room and a bed in the living room since he is not allowed on the couch. It works for us.

Our dogs aren't allowed on the furniture (hubby's deal, not mine!), but they sleep in the bed. I can't sleep without them! Hubby says they have to get out of the bed, but we just keep ignoring him and cuddling up.

Last nite we had some pretty bad storms, and Buster tried to crawl UNDER my pillow. He spent the entire night shoved up as close as he could get to me. Seeing as how I'm pregnant, it was somewhat uncomfortable for me. But, as long as HE is comfy, I'm happy - and all is good in the neighborhood.....

I just love it when they 'spoon' with you!!!

I am laughing at Jennifer because the EXACT same thing goes on here. Hubby says 'no dogs in the bed...i am going to change this....i am putting my foot down!" Worst case scenario they just wait for him to go to sleep and crawl up there....of course he pretends not to notice and they sleep all night!Or just like tonight....HEHEHE.....and they both are in the bed with him now...and he has his arm around Sasha spooning her!! They are ALL STINKERS!!

Jake can sleep on the bed when daddy is gone(he's a pilot)and when he's home he has to sleep on his bed on the floor.

Sophie likes to snuggle for awhile, but really prefers her own bed in her crate. She has her own blankies and nite-nite toys that she likes to lay on. She'll jump up, go to her crate and stand inside till one of us takes her a piece of cheese, then it's off to doggy la-la land.

well I,m in the minority too like Rocky NY mom. No animals in my room . the door is closed. It started that way because of allergies but also I really need my space and I don't sleep well if I'm crowded.DH is ok, but that's it. Neither of my dogs seem to mind. My mutt has free reign in the house and usually sleeps on the couch. Ginger, boxer, is still crated at night, but we're thinking about starting to leave her out as she is getting much better behaved.

We are in the process of getting a king-sized bed becuase of the doggies, and daddy.

My dh is a MAJOR bed/blanket hog, then add 2 boxers and a cocker spaniel in the bed...UMM..I have about 2 inches of space on the bed at night.

Here is the sleeping positions for the dogs.

Dixie up by my head on the pillow. No lie, she will sleep on the pillow next to my head.

Missy between DAddy and Mommy, and legs stuck out straight digging into daddy's back and hiney. Tuggy where he can find room, but preferably next to mommy and daddy...

My dh and I almost never get to snuggle in the bed unless we close the door and then they all cry and whine outside the door.

So hence the need for a king sized bed....
