Does anyone know of any boxer get togethers in the North Carolina Area? I would really like to get more involved with others who share my love for Boxers! Thanks!

I'm In Winston Salem and would love to join in too~

I have 3 boxers. Two seniors m & f and one oh so playful and full of energy 3 yr old neutered male. He would be the one that could really use a good boxer play date.

Does anyone know of a large enough fenced in area in the Piedmont triad region that we can plan a weekend spring get together?
I don't know of any official dog parks that we can let them of their leads to run and freely play. Let me know if anyone knows of any please and I will be there!

I am willing to travel so please post any NC boxer bashes here.

There is a great park here in Raleigh.
Here is the link: http://www.millbrook-dog-park.com/
It is a fairly large park with a double fence and a picnic area.
I was planning on waiting until the weather got a little more stable.
Like maybe March/April.
Any other suggestions would be welcomed.

Thanks for the link. It looks great. I'll have to figure out a time when we can make a day trip there one of these weekends.

COUNTRY PARK - 3902 Nathanael Greene Drive - Greensboro, NC

COUNTRY PARK - 3902 Nathanael Greene Drive - (336) ***.****
Nestled in a naturally wooded area of gently rolling terrain, Country Park is traversed by a stream that feeds two 6-acre ponds. Whether you prefer to walk, jog, ride a bike or simply enjoy an afternoon picnic, Country Park provides the perfect setting. Country Park is home to special events such as the Classic Car Show, Carolina Cup Bicycle Road Race, the Guilford Native American Association's Annual Pow Wow, and the annual Reenactment of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse. In addition, Country Park has the the brand new "Bark Park," Greensboro's only off-leash dog park.

Has anyone been here? I haven't. Would anyone be interested in meeting for a boxer playdate one Sunday afternoon? RSVP with a possible date and time in mind.

I'm originally from Greensboro, Country Park is BEAUTIFUL...as are most of the parks in Greensboro. It was a big disappointment to me when I moved to Rock Hill, and then Charlotte....there parks aren't anything like G-Boro's. The Charlotte has 3 dog parks, in supposedly nice parks....but they just aren't as nice and kept up as the ones like Country Park in G-boro. Of course, I could just be biased to my home town!
