I didnt see a fourm for this sort of thing so ill just ask here. I want a "coat" for truman, We have been to pet store and we bought the largest size they carry, but it wont fit around his chest, hes not hudge 75lbs. My girlfriend has given up and says were gonna get a horse blanket... What I REALLY want is a Pittsburgh Steelers for him!! Any help?

My mother got a pattern, McCalls has some, she made my katie 2 coats out of polar fleece.she even added a little button hole for the harness latch. Good grandma! HeHe.....grandma made her some coats, now if i could just get her to finish the pantsuit she is supposed to make me i would be happy! (my parents are not dog people, good thing katie is people people!) But if your wife sews she might be able to make one.

Ps they even have football team polar fleece!

I'm not sure about the fleeces, but my husband recently bought Mugsy a football jersey with his name on it. I think they had fleeces or sweatshirts for sale there too. I'll have to hunt down the web site.

We got Hilda from white boxer rescue and come September I have to send in her measurements (she's been on a diet) because she comes with a custom made lined winter coat.

They sell them on their website and you can pick your fabric. The prices are not bad either. And best of all, the money goes to the dogs.
