HELP! I may be getting a new job (a good thing :) ), and I will know as soon as a few hours for sure! The problem is, they will require me to go to Houston for 3 weeks for training!! They plan on putting me up in a hotel for that time, which is great, but of course I want to make sure it will take my babies!! I know previously there has been threads suggesting chains that are boxer friendly - will you kind people please direct me to them??? ASAP help GREATLY APPRIECATED!!! (did I misspell that?!?)

P.S. My Kids are "adult" age - 9 and 4!

Completely Boxer Crazy
The Four Seasons downtown (713.652.1300) allows dogs, but I am not sure if they have a size limit. I have seen small dogs there, but never any large ones. They may be able to direct you to another pup friendly hotel though!

If you can't find a hotel or you don't want to leave'em in the room alone check out the Fritz-Carlton for day-care and or boarding! http://www.fritzcarlton.com/

The entire staff at the Fritz are boxer friendly folks. They do LOTS of work for Lone Star Boxer Rescue.

Just wanted to add that most Hampton Inns allow dogs. Hopefully they do in Houston..

To Catcompany

Catcompany, I will be on Highway 6, near IH-10, apparently. Do you know where the Star Furniture Store is in that area? That is where I will be training for 3 weeks (yuck)!! They wanted to put me up at the Bradford Suites nearby, but they won't take pets under any circumstances. So w/Cubby's link, I was able to find Studio 6, which takes boxers and is down the street from Star and the Bradford Suites. Now I am trying to get Star Furniture to allow me to stay there and still pay for it, but as of yesterday it sounds like they will want me to pay for it first and then try to get reimbursed later. They have an account already w/Bradford, etc...but my manager is trying to get somethig worked out. They actually asked me about kenneling them, and I said there was NO WAY I would consider kenneling them that long!! (Not to mention the cost that I can't afford for that right now, lol)

Do you live near there?? I might (VERY THANKFULLY) take you up on the offer!! I'll PM you too.
