May I ask why you have to find him a new home?
I work with the Rockin P Rescue in AL/GA. Please contact the rescue at the contact section of www.rockinprescue.org and explain your situation to Angie (the Executive Director). We have a waiting list to bring boxers in, but we may be able to add him to the list.

My suggestion would be to take Tank off of Petfinders classified and contact your local boxer rescue. While there are wonderful people who look at these postings on Petfinders there are also people that don't have the best intentions. Even if your local rescue can not take him they can list on on their site and you will have a much better quality of people contacting you.

Might I also add that it would be easier to build a fence than to rehome a family member. If this is truley the only reason to rehome him why don't you just build a fence?

I am in PA and am looking for a male boxer. We would have to work some things out, but I sure would love to give Tank a nice, loving, boxer-friendly home 
We have two children (boys) who are almost four (on the 27th) and almost nine (March 7th), and an eight month old brindle female, Daisy, who would absolutely love a boxer brother to romp with!!!

We would like to give Tank a new home if he is still available. Where in Alabama do you live? We live in Nashville, TN. We currently have a fawn female approx. 3 years old that we rescued 2 yrs agol. We had two white males (brothers) who died 6 months apart last year from cancer. We have large fenced yard and our dogs are our babies and have the run of the house.

Thanks for all the input on Tank. Yes I still have him. He is part of the family and this is very hard to do, if I can bring myself to do it at all. Where I live is very strict on what you can and cannot do. We are not allowed to have a fence. Tank is also an alfa male and very jealous,so I don't know how he would do with other dogs. We have dogs and on the most part he is ok but every once in a while he jumps on my shepherd. He does'nt hurt her he grabs a hold of her with his paws and gets on top of her it scares her to death. I love him very much.I have spoken to someone in rescue and they are full. I will be very discearning who adopts tank. I would like to see him go to a home where he would be the only Dog. He loves cats and kids and is a big clown.Believe me I will check references. I live in Mobile Alabama.
