second opinion. no doubt. dont go to a regular vet. research a bit and go to a proper animal hospital. not an office in a converted house, but a proper facility that have multiple care departments, multiple docs and specialists and all the equipment necessary in case of emergency. may be more expensive, but worth the trip.

Thank you

Thank you,
She has been to three Vet offices. One is an Emergency Facility hospital
with 10 doctors on staff. I don't like this place because it is so big you never get the same doctor. We have been going to place for years but now that she is so ill we switched a week ago to a more personal private place owned by two vets. They are flexible and will work with the ER, Giant Hospital however, it is nicer to go there and be treated so kindly. Much nicer. OUr dog likes it too.

Anyway, it is all very sad but despite her diagnosis she is doing rather well.
She gets tired easily but still runs out to play, no longer collapses, eats great, takes extra naps, and now her gums are pink again.

We will have a follow up Vet visit in a another week.

Thank you again for all your advice.

some kind words for you

I am sorry to hear about this. My dog is have problems with walking and standing because of arthritis and it's getting close for us to say goodby.

Just some nice things someone once told me.

God made dogs to be the unconditional love for humans. When he created them god said that he would make this animal for man to know god is with him. When he did not know what to call the animal, he said: this animal will show man the mirror compassion of myself and so I will call him my name in a mirror.
god;dog.
