My wooden boxer head is also flat and uses different woods. The artisan does an inlay called "intarsia" and it's just beautiful. The one I have is a flashy fawn with cropped ears - the only style he does. Both my dogs are non-flashy brindles, one with cropped ears! But it doesn't matter, it's a beautiful piece of artwork.

That sounds exactly like the ones he made! It sounds beautiful! Sandicast (I think that's what they are called) figurines did not make brindles at first but now you can get them with or with out cropped ears and in brindle or fawn. They are really nice. A little expensive though.

I like to collect the porcelain figurines/statues..whatever you want to call them. I get off ebay or at antique malls.
I did get a fur boxer statue. it's kinda cool. I'll have to take pics and post in my gallery..I hope that is allowable.

Where on earth did you get the fur boxer statue? That really sounds like a one of a kind! Take a pic of it beside the real thing! Ha! Lol

I'll have to get my daughter to take a pic and upload to the gallery. I got it and at doll and toy show several years ago. I've never seen another one like it. I always assumed that someone had it made like their dog. But recently on ebay I have seen fur statues of dogs..no boxers, but some others.

I posted to the moderators area to see if I can post pics of my statues. Don't want to break any rules!

Yeah, you wouldn't want to break any rules. But it sounds really neat. Would love to see it if possible.

I'm getting those too! :) I currently have 2 of them and the third will be here within a week! :)
The boxer items I have are: a mug, a throw, a pillow, 3 sculptures, a plaque, and an ornament and of course all the Danbury plates. :D I want to soon get a plush boxer, a bobblehead and the glass sculpture I put a thread up on from Bradford Exchange.
I get my boxer stuff from all over.

Hey I totally forgot about that! How could I ? I have a life sized stuffed fawn boxer with cropped ears ! He's in my daughters room that's why I did not think of that! He's so cool! I got him at Petsmart! I love that thing! Outta sight outta minds I guess. Well Angel always goes in there and knocks him over. At first she used to be afraid of him because he was bigger than her when she was a puppy! Thanks for reminding me !

I'm always looking for new boxer collectibles.
My most recent Ebay purchase was a boxer charm for an Italian Charm Bracelet. Too sweet. I found several designs so I'm hoping to be able to make a full bracelet of just boxers!

I've found most of my items at local stores or craft shows.
My husband bought me 2 beautiful hand quilted pillows with boxers on them from a huge craft fair, and I have a few figurines, ceramic treat jar, decorative plates etc.

I found a great local business that does custom embroidery and got a beautiful sweatshirt from them. website is http://www.enfieldcresting.com

What I'm desperately wanting to find is some fabric panels with only boxers on them so I can sew a quilt. All I've had luck finding is multibreed fabrics.
Any ideas?

Cheers,

Have you ever heard of Mary Maxim? I don't know if they have a website but when I was in there I could have sworn I saw something like that. (I live near by) I'll investigate further and get back to you!
