Boxer Business Cards

I recently started volunteering with Boxer Buddies and had an idea to make business cards for the boxers in foster homes. The cards would be given out by the foster parents when people stopped to comment on the dog, to let them know the boxer was available for adoption.

That is a link to a mock-up I did (using Kneesaa as an example).
If anyone who is currently fostering a boxer and interested in me making them one, just let me know. My email is on the card. You can send me a picture of your dog in foster, the name of the organization you volunteer with and your contact info.
I can then just cut and paste your boxers picture, name and the logo of your rescue org into the card and email you a pdf (which can be viewed with Acrobat Reader, almost all computers come with it), then you can print them out, cut them up and pass them out!
I figured that this made it a little more personal then just a standard business card. It really makes people remember that boxer they saw, and learn more about rescue in the process!

I think it's a great idea. Would be a job for the computer literate!!!!
Business cards are in expensive. They could maybe even be posted at local vets or pet groomers???

I do graphic design for my day job, so it's something I'm very familiar with. It's just so much more rewarding doing stuff for free that helps out a greater cause. I was thinking that I can either send people an entire sheet of them or just one. I know wal-mart sells those pre-perfed business cards that you can print from your home computer. So people can tell me if they want a whole sheet, that they'll cut themselves or just one so they can use the template from the pre-made cards.

Sam's Club sells the preforated business cards for about $10 for 1000.
I think it's a great idea! I have a business card for when I do home visits. It gives people the main website as well as my phone number and email address. I volunteer with White Boxer Rescue and Homeward Bound Boxer Rescue. Good Luck!

I am also in graphics. Last year I changed my business card to include a photo of my Lucy, I have gotten a great response, its a real eye-catcher!!
