I would have to agree with you, wuvmyboxers :D! I have wanted one for so long... I get jealous when I hear everyone talk about their children!

Originally, I was looking into a breeder, but they wanted $1,000! It was a reverse brindle boy and the breeder was obviously an excellent one. I'm sure that I would've been in love with the puppy and everything would've been great. But, then I thought about all those poor babies that don't have homes. I decided that it would be pretty selfish of me to pay all that money for a puppy that will easily find a home compared to a 1 or 2 year old boy who may have a more difficult time. So, that's how I started my search for a rescue baby. I hope that I hear from Kentucky though; this little boy is adorable!

John did Dianne have a dog for you? Apparently Max is a very nice guy who gets along with other dogs, is crate trained but needs some obedience training. Her webpage is in my signature if you'd like to take a look at it. She does not advertise her available dogs, you would have to go there to meet with him!

Oh I know how it is to want one so bad! We bought Legend from a breeder (no, they are NOT cheap!) but after joining this board and seeing how many there are in rescue, I just had to have one! It took about 3 months for us to go thru the adoption process...just hang in there....you'll be blessed with your own boxer baby in no time!

I am glad to hear there are boxer lovers all over Maryland. I live in Maryland and just adopted our newest family member. Dallas is a BEAUTIFUL (maybe I am a bit partial) fawn boy that we found on the boxer rescu message web site. If you keep looking I am sure you will find the "perfect" frined for you to adopt. It took us a little while but I am glad I waited..it was well worth it and we LOVE him dearly!!!!lovicon Good Luck in your search and trust me you will find your PERFECT match soon!!!!

Have you been able to find a male boxer yet? I have a male boxer, fawn with black mask that is 1 1/2 years old. I live in a condo and he deserves to have a home where he can run and play. He is a very loving dog and is great with kids and other dogs. I have pictures if you are interested
