Hey Everyone.....

Noah's 1st birthday is coming up in July. I wanted to throw a little boxer birthday party for him. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or websites as to wear I could order him a cake for dogs. I could even make something. He'll have his little brother Brody there, as well as his boxer GF, Abby. I wanted to do something neat that they all would enjoy. I figured if anyone would have any good ideas, it would be the Boxer World community. :)

Great recipe! Bella's 1st b-day is June 13th so this will help me as well!

Make sure you share pictures of Noah's big day with us!

Hi,

Maggie had her first birthday a couple of weeks ago. I ordered a cake from Human Grade Doggie Cusine. Check out their website for pics. I am in Toronto so it is not doable for you but the pics may provide some ideas. The icing was cream cheese and the decorations were edible as well. Maggie and her guests devoured the cake - try serving cake to more than 10 dogs at once!!!

We had hats - they were not very successful. But the dogs had a blast.

For the human attendees we had cookies and bubbly.

Even though the cake was 'human grade' we kept the doggie and human food separate!!! :)

That is a great picture! Had to show that one to a few friends. The million dollar question is.....

How did you get the hat to stay on?

Birthday parties - they are so much fun. I don't know of a place or recipe for a cake. If you look at my gallery, you will find picks of Cisco's party along with his party favors. The cake I have was for the people guest - but I did buy icecream for the fur guest - they are called Frosty Paws made by Purina. You will find them in your freezer area with the regular icecream. I bought mine at Krogers. I also bought take-out chinese pails with paw prints all over them, I filled doggie treats with them along with a doggie toy for each fur buddie. This was their candy bag. It was a lot of fun!!

I used the cake recipe that BAYLEIGHSMOM posted for Bella's birthday and it was a hit! (pics in the show off your dog section) I recommend it to everyone planning a b-day celebration!
