hi.....ok my puppy kasey is now 10-11 weeks.....saturday she woke up and was limping....beings that we just got her about 2 weeks ago i didnt need to get her to a vet yet. we had her shipped so it had to be done before getting on the plane. anyway, when i took her out of her cage saturday she was limping. I took her to a vet he told me her paw was sowellen and gave me pills that are like mortin a little stronger for pain.well i ended up really not liking the vet. i like a vet who is going to notice i am there and he did not. so i took her to another vet yesterday he was awesome. the first vet says if not better in a week we can do and xray.....after he has already charged me 105.00 dollars....anyway the new vet as soon as he sees her he goes we need and xray he thought she fractured something....he leg is very sowelo len at the top and she holds it up. he also said sometimes they frature the growth plate. but he did not see anything on the xray....oh and he said she had a 104 temp...which the other vet never took her temp....so he gave her antiboitics and said he wants a phone call in a couple days to see if she is doing ok...and if she is not eatting or vomiting ect...to call him right away...she threw up on my 4year old on the way home from the vet and wont eat at all....but he was very concerned...has anyone experieced this any feedback would be great...she is only 11pounds now she cant afford not to eat. thanks in advance

Well, if her xrays are OK but she has a swollen paw and is limping, I wonder about a puncture/infection or some sort of bug bite - the latter especially if she has a temperature and vomitting as well (though that could be due to the car ride).

Do keep us up to date on her progress, and don't hesitate to return quickly to your vet if she gets any worse.

If you can't tempt her to eat any kibble, some canned food or boiled chicken and rice are good alternative options.

oh yeah she is on them...he gave her a shot before we left and then some oral to take home...he is just not sure if it is causing her leg to be this way.
