I know some time in the last year I've seen a video of a boxer herding. When I tried to look it up on YouTube I came across this video. It has some interviews of people who are doing competion herding with boxers. It's very informative, a little long however, almost 10 mins. I found it interesting tho'. But It definitely shows a boxer can be a farm dog.

Thanks for all the great replies! But.....they won't be keeping her after all. They found her family today! They were so excited to have her home after a week of thinking the worst. She is deaf and had wandered 2 miles away from home. The owners acquired her from the airline the dad works at. She had been shipped from a breeder and apparently the intended owners weren't told she was deaf. When they came to pick her up at the airport they found out (not sure on how this all went down) and didn't want her so the dad/employee took her home.

I'm glad her family found her! I know when I lost one of my dogs for about 20 mins I was in tears! (I had just changed my phone # and had not updated her tags-I fixed that immmediately upon her return!)

We took Jake to the country for a visit. He ended up trying to "play" with some horses and got kicked in the head. These days he is none too fond of livestock; if we drive by a field containing horses or cows he gives them a piece of his mind.
