Bosco in Tennessee needs a new home....

My 11 month old boxer needs room to run. He is a wonderful loving and very active boxer. It will break my heart to see him go but I know he will be happier with someone who has a large yard with a fence. If anyone is interested please let me know.

Are you having specific problems with him? If so, please let us know. We might be able to offer advice that will help so you can keep him instead of giving him up. Lots of people on this board have happy, well-adjusted boxer without large yards - many in apartments with no yards at all.

Hi, I saw your ad and am very interested in meeting your dog and seeing if we get along. I recently moved to Atlanta, have my own house with a large fenced backyard and am looking to adopt a Boxer. My last (and only) dog, Joe Boxer was given to me as an X mass gift in 1993, I had him since and had a great time with him, he had free run of the house and loved to go to the beach and on road trips with me. Joe Boxer recently passed away from old age, he was 11 1/2 years old.
Please contact me when you have time available.

Thanks
Phil

You know, I have found that a lot of people are convinced that their dog needs a house with a fenced yard, but . . . oftentimes what the dog really needs is some training, some long walks, perhaps a few romps at the dog park and, most importantly, lots of time with you! I'll bet if you asked him what he'd prefer, he'd choose you over the "house with a large yard."

I sent a message stating my interest in adopting Bosco with my phone number included yesterday. The number was removed by the moderator.
Wanted to send you both my work and home e mail addresses so that if you are still looking for a loving home for your dog he and I could get aquanted and see if it works out.

Pcusolito - use the "private message" feature to send your information to the original poster. Your email addresses will eventually get edited out as well. Under your "User CP" you can set it up so that people can email you directly if you want them to (see link at the top of the forms list on the left). That's also where you can set to be able to receive private messages.
