Glad to hear the little one is doing fine. I have heard that some city's put down pits if they are brought in under any circumstances. If I'm not mistaken they do it all the time on the Pet Detectives show on the animal planet. It would be bad if the guy loses his dog, but he should be responsible enought to make sure the dog is secured properly. People get these dogs and think they are invensable because they have a pit bull in their yards but when something like this happens it's everyone elses fault but their own. The dog does what comes naturally to it. These back yard breeders have bred this into the dogs. I have been to several dog shows and the Bradfordshire Pit Bull Terriers are as gentle and loving as they can be. Those are the dogs that are bred properly. Don't let him get to your emotions. You didnt do anything wrong.
