My 2.5 year old boxer girl Nike has loose poop with blood again, after the problem seemed to go away. about a week and a half ago i took Nike to the vet for diarrhea with blood when she strains. they gave antibiotics, a pill for diarrhea, and canine i/d dry. after a week of meds, i/d, cottage cheese, and Activia the problem seemed to go away. she has also gained a few pounds, she still looks really thin. two days ago i started to incorporate TOTW Pacific Stream dry formula, into the prescribed food. I had no idea, most of commercial, pet store dog foods were awful. then the problem returned. please help.
