blood in urine??

ok...so i'm not sure if there's blood in his urine or not...he very well could have just peed and it look a little red from whatever was on my floor but...there were three puddles of urine in my bathroom when i came home and one of them looked like there was a little bit of blood in it...tank's acting fine, eating, drinking, and playing...what could it be?? he already has an appointment in two days with the vet, so i'm definitely saying something about it then, but do you think it's something i should worry and stress out about...it may not even be blood...i might just be an overprotective mommy...

You could always catch a urine sample and take it to the vet with you. They can check to see if it is really blood in there. Good luck and let us know what happens at the vet.

the vet felt up all on him and said he's not too bad...told me to go buy some cranberry tablets and give him one a day because they don't want to put babies on antibiotics if they don't need them...he's having less accidents and no urine with funny colors...so he's doing better!

Glad your baby is better. If it is bright red that is less cause for concern-as long as it is never dark looking blood-which could mean internal bleeding. I agree with your vet's conservative approach. Good luck
