Blake the Cresent Roll

Our boy Blake when we come home or when he meets some one new points his rear end at you and looks back at you, his tail wagg'en looking like a cresent roll with ears. Do your dogs do this too and does anyone know why?

Its' ONE of the most endearing characteristics of the boxer - and one helluva greeting that can make a bad day seem good. You'll see alot of references to the kidney bean, or bean - that's what it means! At our house, we call it the "Happy Dance".

Yep, welcome to the world of Boxer Love. That's the Kidney Bean dance. I don't know of any other breed that does the Kidney Bean (Crescent Roll sounds much nicer - I never liked kidney beans anyway). Like Cubby said, it is one of their most endearing qualities. Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy!
