My Zeus thinks hands are a chew toy. Everytime I am doing anything with my hands (movements, typing, carrying items like paper towel rolls) he attacks my hands. When I tell him know he puts his butt up in the air and does a low pitched growl at me and then barks and goes after my hands again. I don't know how to go about getting him to stop. If I yell at him and stand up he runs like it is a game. Any ideas??? Does anyone else have this problem???

some tips
we had this same problem. a good course of action is to keep some sort of a toy on you at all times. when he goes to bite your hands direct him to bite the toy, then praise him when he does.
if this still isn't working I would try getting some bitter apple. they sell it at petco and places like that.
try putting it on your hands. they don't like the taste and that will help to deter them from biting your hands.

We have this problem with Henry. We are trying to keep a toy handy and divert his attention into playing with the toy, then praising for playing with the toy. If he refuses to stop the biting/chewing at our hands, we stop playing with him, put our hands out of reach, and ignore him so he is not getting attention for doing it. He is already improving on it. You can tell he thinks of it as play, it is just a matter of teaching him a better game
