Does anyone have any suggestions!?!?! When Jagger gets really wound up playing, he starts to bite our hands, and not exactly easy. Then he gets more excited the longer you play with him and he gets crazy. HELP!

Hi Jagger's Mom:)

I allow Nash to bite my hands when we play, she has learned to mouth my hands gently. If she gets carried away, I yell OUCH, and she knows that she has gone too far;) As soon as my hands stop, she stops, and starts licking them.

I think there have been previous posts on this subject, and how to teach them to mouth you softly. It is supposed to be important for them to learn. Try using the search button at the top of your screen ... I have found it to be helpful in the past too.;)

Good luck, let us know how things are going.

Brando and I play "rough" frequntly. I put my hands up in mock fists, and we'll play. He bites my hands and arms as well, but he knows if I say "Be nice" that means to stop playing all together, and "Settle down" or "Easy" means he's being too rough with me. He's 7 months, and almost 70 pounds, so he can really pack a punch. I suggest you just let Jagger know the limits and enjoy him!
