Biting at ankles

Katie never really bit my ankles, she just swipes them with her paws! when she was a pup she played with smaller quicker dogs and she learned that to catch them just knock their back feet out from under them, which works!

it was cute until she knocked my 3yr old neice down by swiping the legs. then she gave my neice a "boxer bath" poor kids..... i just stop and tell her NO now, then tell her to get a ball or her hedgehog toy and that usually works.

ankle biters

I got a visual and just had to giggle at this. My girl does this when I am on my elliptical machine working out. She thinks it is SOOO fun to watch my feet go round and round and then she grabs at my ankles and play growls. Sometimes I am laughing so hard I have to stop working out before I fall off the machine! Just one of many lovely quirks!

 

[Shotze's Mom]

Shotze only does this if she isnt ready to come inside from playing outside. Its like shes saying, "Noooooo I dont wanna go in Mom!! STOOOOOOOP!" Kinda aggravating, but hilarious. I try to pull her off , but when I start laughing I get as weak as a noodle and she wins. I do the stop walking thing too, but she keeps on coming when I start again. Oh how I HOPE she grows out of it.
