my 7 month old boxer is sooo cheeky!
she is mostly always well behaved, but she sometimes takes random attacks and bites me and barks at me, even though I tell her no.
I think it might be because I wasn't very firm with her when she was younger and now shes taking the rip a little. how can I get her to stop??

Silly girl :) She is like a little adolescent now testing all the boundaries. When she is really fresh walk away-ignoring will send a message that you are not having fun. Do you practice obedience with her? Might be fun to take a class-she can learn some good manners and make new friends. I found too that long on lead walks worked wonders both for exercise and to bond. She will earn to love your walks and you can practice sits, and "look at me", and "wait", etc. Bring cookies and love :)

I second the suggestion of training classes. Given that your other post says you're having trouble with leash manners and pulling, you'd probably benefit all around from some training.

I agree with walking away. I didn't try that with any of my pups when they were young. But, I've had friends who have puppies and when they're jumping at me and being mouthy and unruly I'll try to correct and be firm, but there are times when they're beyond that. So I just get up and walk away. They're like, "Hey, where'd you go? Don't you want to play?" These aren't boxers, so not nearly as stubborn, but they get the clue.

I also recommend training/obedience class. You may end up being the worst in the class, but the bonding is very important.
