I'm not 100% sure of the brand but I do know that it was marked on the package for "KITTENS". When my daughter recently took her new kitten Garfield to the vet and it was discovered he had fleas she was terrified that he would become sick from the flea meds. Our vet reassured her (as I did) that the Advantage is specificly formulated for kittens. 
I also forgot to add that Nutro Natural is Cookie's food. She has maintaned a good wieght for the last 2 years on it. We feed Nutro Natural Lamb & Rice dry (1 1/2 -2 cups) mixed with Nutro Original Lamb & Rice canned (1/3 can) twice a day.

Ohh... that's really bad... esp. since it was labled for kittens! 
My dogs eat Nutro Natural Choice Lamb and Rice every other bag or so... they have Chicken Soup right now.
This summer I am really gonna explore more natural flea preventors... I've just really been getting uncomfortable about using those flea shampoos and spot ons that say on the lable for you to try not to get it on your skin, wash up after putting it on your pet and such... if it's that bad for us to come in contact with... I don't really see how esp. a long term use on our pets is any good.

Msbxrmom, My daughter & son in law said you called last night checking on Cletus my baby moose & Dyla do my gr.sons baby. I would love to see pictures of aggie, Buddy,Zoe & Rosey. Cletus just had his 1st birthday on Oct.13 he is such a joy in my life & he is so spoiled rotten its not even funny. I see you haven't posted in a while, I would love to hear about your babies. I've read several threads about BioSpot causing some bad reactions. I use Frontline Plus and have been pleased with the results.
Be careful about trying to save a few dollars. I believe in the old saying, "You get what you pay for." My first question would be how can BioSpot sell their product at a much lower price?

I would not use Bio Spot!
I tried to find an old thread about Bio Spot, but was unsuccessful. Back in March or so, I did some online research to find out if Petsmart sold it. I had heard it was cheaper than Frontline. I ran across this information:

I also ran across a number of other consumer alerts about Bio Spot. I wouldn't touch the stuff. It appears to cause neurological events, sometimes leading to death in dogs (do a Google search for "Bio Spot neurological").
I have noticed Drs. Foster & Smith sells Frontline for less than my vet--a lot less. I bet JB Pet has decent prices on it and other flea and tick products.

Thank goodness I've never had a problem with fleas ever but I tried Bio Spot for mosquitos since it says that it repels them and my Jade gets eaten up bad by them. I always used Advantage and it worked wonders, she never got bit up by mosquitos with it so I thought since Bio Spot said that it also repels I'd give it a try since it's so much cheaper. Well it came in a three pack and I threw 2 away cuz it didn't help with the mosquitos at all, I was so disappointed but not completely surprised, like the saying goes 'you get what you pay for' and I'll never waste my money on Bio Spot again, Advantage only.

We have tried Frontline & Revolution. Neither of them really worked for us. Advantage seems to be working out at the moment, still keeping a close check on it.
As for foods, we are happily using Chicken Soup For the Puppy Lover's Soul. Barlow seems pretty happy with it at the moment. And he's plenty healthy!

Never tried Bio Spot but have to say that Nutro Lamb and Rice has made our lives better. We have tried a variety of dog foods (with the help of our vet) because Rocky has food allergies. Alot of the lamb and rice formulas still contain wheat grains (one of the things he is allergic to) and the California Natural Lamb and Rice is soooo pure is does not have any binding agents and we solved the allergy problem and then had MAJOR diahrea (spell check needed on this site) problems. Nutro has been working great for us.
