Boxer Pal
Hello y'all. My name is Diana and my husband and I have 3 furry kids, two cats and Bevo- a male fawn Boxer, docked and floppy! He just turned 3 and we are first time Boxer parents. We sure are crazy about him. He was the ring bearer at our wedding. He carried the rings in western holsters he had around his waist, did a perfect job and loved posing for pictures.

He just had a mast cell tumor removed from his paw yesterday, which brought me to your site to read all I could about others experiences. We won't know for 2 weeks if it is malignant but the vet was concerned about the appearance of the tumor. Anyway, this is our intro, and 2 nite I will be back over in the health section reading about others going through this.

Thanks to all those that run and participate in this forum. I was freaking out last night and found some relief in getting some knowledge about what we may be facing. At least now I have a better understanding of the terminology used with this situation and can ask the right questions.

Thank you all for the welcome and well wishes

Melayna – Thanks for the “welcome” and thank you for your prayers. It means more than you can know.

Wanda- Thnx for the greetings. From what I could gather, the location of the tumor prevented the vet from removing anything around it. She thinks she got it all. Hoping for the best.

Katie & Hurley – Glad to be here. I am thoroughly enjoying all the great pictures!! We are from a town 30 miles north of Dallas. My hubby is a big TX Longhorn fan, so he named our precious baby after a cow..steer..
whatever... lol.. :)

Rose & Tre – Thnx for the “welcome”. We posted a couple of pics.

Sharon – Will do. The information here is fantastic, in all kinds of areas. Amazing!

MxRxSth & Samantha – Posted a few pics. Have to compress the others before I can post. This will be the longest 2 weeks ever for me and my hubby. I found another lump 2nite so of course I am even more apprehensive. Bevo will be getting massages every nite now so I can thoroughly check him! Yikes!

UT Mark & Bevo- Hey distant cousin! :) Our Bevo was born in Oklahoma and I am a Sooner fan. He was a B-day gift to my hubby, who promptly named him “Bevo’s No Sooner” and of course he now lives in Texas. Our next Boxer will be named Sooner for sure. ;-)

Emily – Thanks for the “welcome” and I will indeed keep you posted. *thinking positive thoughts*
