OK we all know that toys don't last long with Boxers. It's a given there isn't such a thing. But there has to be one toy that just outlived the rest of them. In your house what toy (doggie toy) lasted the longest. It can't be because they didn't play with it. It has to be a toy that was used to it's fullest but still withstood the test.

Brutus is still just a puppy, but has trashed his share of toys already. The best so far has been his kong. He likes to play with it and has really chewed at it and it is still like new (he has had it about 5 weeks).:p

It took Boomer almost four months to decide he was interested in toys. His favorite is his Piggy. It is also his secret weapon. He loves to jump on it when he makes it 'oink'. His tiger (he roars) is a close second. Sorry, no pic of the tiger. His third favorite is this stuffed toy that looks like a toy jack. Each part is a different color and has a squeaker in the end.

Cheers,

Tennis balls are pretty much the only ones that last with my 2 boxers. The "tug of war" rope lasted pretty long too. They don't have kongs yet but their birthdays are coming up :p

I'm new to boxer world and this is my first post. I have a one year old brindle named Stone. I swear to god this dog can't keep a toy together for more than a week. I can't even count how many times I have to sew holes in his huge stuffede cow. I'm picking up stuffing at least once a week.

Chica plays with toys all day long. She goes from one thing to another and often falls asleep with a tennis ball in her mouth. And yes, I have spent a small fortune but the look on her face when she gets a new toy is awsome and worth every penny. Some toys have lasted only a couple of hours and the ropes have lasted the longest until I discovered the "Jolly Ball".appicon appicon

The Jolly Ball is a ball within a ball and the outer ball is made of a very hard plastic. The outer ball is purple, about the size of a vollyball and has cutout circles in verying diameters and there is a softer smaller orange ball inside the hard ball. Chica loves this toy and we have had it for over a year.:D

The toys that I feel are not destructable are: kongs, another rubber toy (resembles a space ship), knuckle bones and nylabones. The only one that wears down is nylabone but it'll last over 1 year. In fact, I am due to buy Ginger a new one for her birthday, it is getting too small. You can't go wrong with these toys, can be a little more money but are definately worth it! They are sturdy and safe!

Hedgehogs!!!

Duchess has two hedgehogs from PETsMART. One of them squeaks; the other grunts. We got both of them within a few weeks of getting her at 8-weeks-old. She's now 9 months. She plays with them both ALL the time, and they're both still in one piece!
