Best puppy toy?

Hey, I'm getting Ada (my puppy) in one week and I'm just looking for some suggestions on toys. Should I get her a teething bone, a kong, a rope toy? Too many to choose from. Anyone have any good experiences (or bad for that matter) with certain chew toys?

Oh the fun of looking for toys and chew things LOL
This is what I have for Tyson.
Raw meaty knuckle bones (great for chewing on instead of furniture)
kong (fill and freeze)
kong ball
rope toy (I made one also with 3 old socks braided together)
cuz toys (he loves squeekes)
blanket (we cover him, he plays under it)
I personally stay away from rawhides. Enjoy your new baby. Just be careful. They are contagious and like chips. You can't have just one :D

Mine so far loves anything from toys to chasing an empty coke bottle around the house. But she did seem to really like those petstages toys at Petsmart, they look more like teething kids toys. Loves greenies too. Ribs bones from Tractor Supply she dines on to.

My puppy is almost 10 weeks old and she loves the bad cuz, a bit afraid of it at first but now it's great, she has a few stuffed toys she only gets when we're watching her, she doesn't care too much about her kong. She really likes these chopped rawhide veggie chews my husband got her and will work on one of those for hours.

Thanks for all of the input, I'm defiantly going to try one of the Cuz squeaky toys. I will also try the frozen filled kong to keep her busy while we are at work.

petsmart or petgo has this toy that is canvas and looks like a CATerpillar. cat head and a dozen legs. it opens up and you can put a smooshed water bottle in it. My puppy girl loves this thing. she also loves her rope and we got her a dinosaur that squeeks but doesnt have any stuffing except in the head. Its called a "tuff" toy or something similar.

I have so many toys which my dogs played with the first day but now don't care for them. However, the bad cuz is great and the old fashioned tennis ball works extremely well. They make my dogs crazy- they only want to play with the tennis ball! Cheap and a great toy however if they start to get the fuzz off then throw it out and get a new one. Good luck!

Our girl loves rope toys (just be careful of untying the knots and eating the string), loves a crushed water bottle, and will usually only touch her Kong if it has peanut butter or treats inside. She also loves squeakies, like the Cuz that several people have mentioned.

She likes to make her own toys, too, by stealing socks and underpants from the dirty pile and running under the bed to chew on them!

Tyson also loves playing with an empty pop/soda bottle. We use a 2 liter one, but for a puppy, I'd think the liter or even 20 oz ones would work. Just keep the cap tightened on it. Tyson plays for about an hour in the yard with it.
