Hi folks,

What brands would you recommend? How much? Three times a day?

He's eight weeks old.

Thank you :)

Boo was on Wellness Puppy until he was 7 months old ...he did very well on it ..I fed him 3 times a day ..about a cup each time...sometimes more if he ask ... Your puppy is growing fast & full of energy ....He needs to be fed at least 3 times a day ..with healthy treats between meals..and a treat or two before bed. Also as a suggestion ...do not free feed him ..give him 15 to 20 minutes to finish his meal ...after that pick up the bowl ...he will not strave ...he'll learn to eat when its time ...!!!

Ronin was on Wellness puppy as well. He just loves it! He's a year old now, and I still have him on the Wellness brand food - his coat looks great and he's already becoming a big, strapping, healthy boy :)

I feed Luke Wellness too. I feel its one of the best foods on the market. They put alot of junk into some of the other brands. Were experimenting with the amounts to feed him right now. But we have been feeding him about 3 cups a day, 2 times a day. He is 15 months old and weighs about 48 lbs. Were trying to give him a few more pounds. They say that if you overfeed your dog it instantly takes 5 years off their lives. We want him lean but not skinny. Check out their website http://www.oldmotherhubbard.com/
But saying all that every dog is different, just like people. As I too am finding out its hard to say.

P.S. I hear that Innova is also good. I have been thinking about switching to that too

If you look up the website that TotallyHip posted (for Wellness) you can enter your Zip Code and it will tell you where you can buy it. I don't know about Innova, sorry :o
Good luck in your search for a great food! :)

We've had Chula on Natural Balance since she was about 9 weeks old and she's done really well with it. I like that they also sell a semi-moist roll that you can mix in on occasion.
