We have a huge beanbag, 2 of the beds from Costco, numerous blankies, they will snooze in....but they always seem to end up in our bed spooning hubby and I when it's nighttime LOL!

Where in WA are you located? If you are near a Costco, they have REALLY nice 42" round dog beds. They are cedar lined......and only cost 19.99. I picked two up for my pooches last week. I live just south of Seattle and got them at the SODO Seattle Costco. The bottom and sides are made with nice sturdy fabric and the top part is made from some type of wool like material. I highly recommend them. I was pricing similar dog beds at Petsmart and they were like 40-50 bucks!

I got 2 beds from Target and one from Walmart all around $20-25. Not bad for the X-large beds. The material is nice, and hold up well when washed.

If you're good at sewing you could make your own. We found a heavy Faux Suede material on clearance, bought the zippers and stuffed it with 3 Queen sized pillows (Walmart-$4 ea.) all for about 20 buck each for 2 beds. Best part was I had my own choice of colors and size (42"x30").

Leila doesn't sleep in any bed we have bought her. She is a lap dog, a 50 pound lap dog that is....so where ever we are sitting, this is where she will be. Then she ends us in our sleep number bed with us every night. She likes it at a 45 which is my side of the bed. He He.

Make sure you get something easy to wash - and it fits in your washing machine ok. It really annoys me if I find what looks like a great bed but the cover doesn't come off or you discover after the first wash that it takes forever to dry.

I'm thinking of trying a Slumber Ball for Cornelius. Has anyone heard of it? They look really comfy. I think Drs. Foster and Smith has them but I've seen them other places as well.

If you have a Costco available and are looking for a large pillow type bed, they have the best ones in my opinion. They're 42 inches in diameter with one side covered in fleece and the other with various fabrics. The cover can be removed to be washed.

Moab seems to love his as he no longer wants to sleep in the chair but heads for the bed when he starts getting tired.

Walmart carries those big pillow-like ones as well for about $20-$24. fleece on one side and a suede-like material on the other and the cover is removeable and washable.

Our dogs love their snuggle balls. Just make sure that if you buy one that you get the deluxe version with the zipper. We have the largest size and the next size down. I have to take them to the laundromat to wash them.

We also have a Beasley's couch that looks like a human couch with no legs. It is large enough for all three if they snuggle. It comes apart nicely for washing and the cover fits in my home washer.

Our latest addition is a Cozy Cave. It is a fleece bed with a hood so that it is like a den. They all take turns sleeping in it except the GSD. She does not fit.

All of these can be bought from catalogs like JB Pet or In the company of dogs. Or online at their websites or from Amazon. We got the Cozy Cave from Amazon for about forty dollars less than what we would have paid in the catalog.

Korunda(sp). They are made of a pvc frame and off the ground. Our shleter begs for them as donations.

Not to sound dumb but what is so great about these? They look to me like they would be uncomfortable. The only good thing I can see is they are washed by just spraying the off. Can someone enlighten me?
