My husband bought me a adorable all white boxer pup for Christmas n I love her but I believe she is deaf she doesn't acknowledge any loud sounds even when she sleeps, no noise even makes her flinch or alter her breathing. I wouldn't trade her or do away with her for the world, just not sure if she has any special needs I should know about or anything I should do different for her. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Bless you for being so accepting of her disability. I'm sure your instincts about her being deaf are correct.
There is an organization devoted to deaf dogs, Deaf Dog Education Action Fund You will find great info as well as additional resources. I once went to a training center where a demonstration was given with a deaf dog and she was amazing!
Hopefully someone here will have experience and be able to guide you.

Boxer Insane
Many white boxers are prone to deafness BUT doesn't stop them at all from living a wonderous life! The best part, they are often times very quiet - no boxer whines or barking at inanimate objects! LOL
Hand signaling/training is so easy and they really pick up on it quickly. Some use vibration collars, NOT shock collars, to train their dogs on recall and distance training. Two of my dogs are trained with hand signals and no vocals, and they are hearing dogs. Dogs are soooo smart, especially boxers. If you put in the time for you and the pup to learn through deafness training, you will have the most amazing dog! Plus, deaf dogs seem to really be more "in tune" with their owners as they learn to use other senses more deeply. Often they are "eyes on you" type of dogs, so you have their attention when you need it!

Understand your concern
We got a precious Boxer in November, and noticed he could sleep through anything, and always stayed right by us. He was also always wanting to be touching us to go to sleep. When he didn't respond by either barking or running from the vaccum, I knew something was up. He is indeed deaf, but has to be the most precious dog we have ever owned. He only barks when he is alone and is wanting to be able to see us. I also think he may bark to deter anything from startling him. I have been on youtube and typed in training a deaf dog, and have found that very helpful. I also am on Facebook and have joined a group about deaf dogs. Petey is learning well with hand signals. The key is to just be consistent. Any other dog we've had, I trained them with a clicker. With Petey, I use a flash light and turn it off and on a couple of times to let him know it's what I wanted. Works great.

Deaf white Boxer.
Our beautiful white Boxer, Meesha is deaf. She is a rescue dog who is almost 21 months old. She is the joy of our life and I just can't imagine not having her in our family. We are teaching her sign language. She's very clever and learns new sign's quickly. One of the first things we taught her was a 'look at me' sign so she would keep 'checking in' with us. Don't worry too much if your puppy is deaf - it's really not a big deal. Just remember, they have no idea they're disabled and will live life to the full just like a usual Boxer.
