Began reading this sub-forum and had my doubts.

Well it's been two days since I got Zion from the breeder and it does look very Boxer to me but, well the breeder told me if I wanted to register him to call him that he had the registration number for akc and so i called but it feels now he evading me cause first he told me he's at a baseball game that he'd call me tomorrow then tomorow came and I called him and he told me that he was looking but couldnt find em that he call me when he does and well it started creating doubts in me so I came to the Boxer standard forums to c if it looks Boxer cause I've been reading some stories and some Breeders are really bad.

He looks all boxer to me also. Could it be that neither of the parents are registered and so that is why he cannot "find" the numbers? Responsible breeders will give you the registration form when you pick up the pup, with most of it already filled out except for your part, with the bloodline family history. My guess is the parents aren't registered, and this is most likely a backyard breeder. Doesn't mean you don't have a cute little boxer though! He is adorable.

Sorry been away from internet for a while. Lil Zion is getting big hes almost 2 months old now. Thanks all for the response. He's in the chewing my shoes every moment he has stravaganza hehe
