Bubba loves beer if a can is unattended he will lick it and cut his tongue but he loves it and will lick the bottom of the can you are holding in case you missed some!

Of course, I NEVER drank underage (wink, wink), but when I was younger, when Red Dog Beer first came out, the dog looked a little like Ruckus. And ofcourse, any party I did (and still do!) go to, Ruckus goes to. So, back when I thought it was cool, my favorite thing to do was to drink my RedDog with my Red Dog.

Haha thats so cute!! Duchess hasnt had a run in with beer yet, but she did knock a glass of champagne over..she lapped some of it up and the fizziness got to her so she flicked her tongue for about 2 min then went back for some more! She always tries to get her face in anything we are eating/drinking!

Part human I tell ya!

Yep Dexter is a fan of beer gets that from his Daddy, especially during the summer when he gets to go to all the BBQ's with us and watch all the highly inebriated adults make asses out of themselves. I'm always the designated driver, that and I drank WAY to much beer when I was younger and now I think it's the grossest thing ever!

One time at a neighborhood BBQ I caught my DH's best friend giving Dexter some Bacardi 151, after stopping him I grabbed his beer and took it to his 2 year old and said "here honey drink this". I thought the guys eyes were gonna pop out his head cause his 2yr. old was going to drink it....me being the nice person I am of course let him get it to his lips and pulled it away ! I think I made my point though, he never gave Dexter beer or hard liquore again!

Killian has never really tried to get into beer, though I think he has probably tasted it at some point. But our last boxer Samson would do anything he could to get some. If we were cooking out on the deck he would always come up and try to find an unattended bottle to knock over and lap up. We just started making him stay off the deck if anyone had beer up there.

I am tellin ya...Roxy loves beer!! She also likes Malibu Rum! She seems to always steal it when we are not looking. She gets in trouble but then comes back looking all cute, we forgive her, and she steals it agian!!! Like daddy like doghter!!!

I have been laughing reading this thread and then it happened...last night we were on patio and DH put his beer on floor next to his chair and the girls tipped it over. I quickly grabbed it, but not before some spilled. Well they loved it. The rest of the evening they kept attacking DH and his brother trying to get their beer. It was hysterical. My girls are little "boxerholics".

Manny's a beer lover too! I thought it was just him. Our pit bull we used to have could not stand beer and would actually turn his whole head away from it when he saw it. Manny, on the other hand, will go to quite comical lengths to try and get ahold of daddy's beer. He'll sit on the floor like a good boy right in front of daddy and eye the beer can and if that doesn't work, he'll wait for daddy to set it down and then knock it over to get to it. Is this a Boxer habit?

All three of my boxers have liked it, our original Buster(rainbow bridge), Pancho and our Whitebuster.. My Zoe, (boxer mix has tried it but she doesn't beg for it like the boxers.

For the record what is supposed to be bad about them having it?? What's wrong with the Hops??
