Been a Long Time

Been such a LONG time since ive posted here, thought I should intro again. I am the very proud mommy to three boxers. Savannah, flashy fawn female, DOB 12/6/96 spayed. Jordan, flashy brindle male, about 5 yrs old, rescue, neutered. Last but never least, Ripley, white male with fawn eye patch, rescue, neutered, 2 yrs this past April 8th Me and the crew recently relocated from Northern California to Richardson, Texas. We have met several new boxer people here in Dallas and are slowly getting used to the culture shock!!!

Hi there, Amy! I live in Sacramento, and have just recently gotten involved with the Nor Cal Boxer Rescue here in my area. I have been approved to be a foster home, and am now just waiting for my first foster. :D By the way, Ripley has a birthday buddy. April 8th is my Stella's birthday! Yay! And welcome back to Boxerworld! Nice to meet you.

Also, hello to Chewy's mom. I also lived in Sacramento, California at one time, and still have relatives there. I also had a cousin that was a professional baseball player that lived in Citrus Heights when he died in a car wreck in 1989 (I think I got the year right).

I'm pretty new to the boards too, but I'm enjoying myself here immensely.

Your Ripley has the same markings as my Lexi :D . I'll be getting her from the breeder this weekend, and hope to make it to next month's Boxer Bash to meet everyone.

I really enjoyed the photos of last weekend's bash.

Amy, yes, it was Mary that did my home check. Very nice lady, and we had a good time chatting. I was so sad to hear that she won't be able to stay involved with ncbr any longer. I think it is due to health problems. :( So I am now in touch with Rhonda - also super nice lady.

I might just meet you at the pet expo here in town. I'm planning to go visit one of those days that it's going on. Mary told me about it, and said that ncbr has a small booth. We have a boxer bash here on the 22nd in the late morning, but maybe I'll go after that. What day will you be there?
