got epipen prescription and steroid pills from new vet
We just got back from a new vet who gave us a prescription for an epipen jr. She said they run about $80.00 and expire in about a year so she also included 2 refills. We were also given some steroid pills in case she has a reaction again. The orders were to give Shillaleigh benedryl and steroid pills first. Then, if she shows signs of the severe reaction (white gums, vomiting) we should give her the epipen. I feel so releaved now. As far as the hair loss goes, the vet said to give it a month and see what happens. It could be from the stress of everything going on. I will be giving Shillaleigh Missing Link to see if that helps but I don't know if it is once or twice a day. The bag only specifies amount. Any thoughts on it all?
