Bed time

Titan has his own bed, the kind with the pillow built around the back. He loves it, but he sleeps in the living room. Usually he has his head up on the pillow part or hangin off of it. Every once in a while he makes circles before he lays down, but usually he's too tired for that.

I am glad to see that Kosmo is not the only one one that does the circling thing. Kosmo sleeps in his crate at night. He has a fleece blanket in his crate and most mornings when I go to wake him up to go out he has the blanket covering his head then there are some days his whole body is under the blanket and he tries to get up but he can't because he is standing on the blanket and he gets mad at the blanket What a clown I have.

Take a look in my photo gallery and you will see some of Buster´s very weird sleeping positions. He used to sleep under our bed on his back all four legs in the air..... kicking the bottom of our bed when he was dreaming!!!

We have changed bed now so these days he sleeps besides my side of the bed on his own little mattress ( I think his daddy is very thankful about that because sometimes it´s very hard to bear the smell from all the midnight farting...)

 

[Layla's Mum]

Layla is famous for her circle's before sleeping. It seems the more tired she is, the more circles she does. She even does them in the car if she wants to have a nap while we are driving. At night she can be found in between hubby and I (just in case she thought we might actually want some alone time, she'll have none of that!) She'll usually start off cuddled into me with her head on my pillow snoring away. At some point she switches into the smallest ball possible. As tight as she can curl up she does. And then she ends up with her butt facing our heads! And to finish it off, in the early morning she sleeps horizontal in between me and hubby to insure that she has as much room as humanly (dogly) possible. Me and Hubby end up curled up and pushed off the bed as to accomondate the little princess. God forbid HER sleep be interupted!

Sounds like all our fur babies sleep alike, must be a boxer thing...LOL Sadie always hang's her head or back end off her pillow as well...must feel good to them...when it comes to nite time she's always in bed with mommy.

We have an oversized (dog) pillow on the floor beside our bed for Daisy. When we start preparing for bed, Daisy will go into our room and jump onto our bed, stetch out and fall asleep.

Most every night it is the same ritual. We'll come in and tell Daisy to get into her bed... and she PRETENDS to be asleep. We give her a nudge and she half opens her eyes and looks at us as if to say "What?". Again, we tell to get into her bed, and after a long stretch, a big yawn and a good shake she jumps off our bed into hers.... circles 3 - 100 times and go fast to sleep.

[Konah's Mom]

Konah is a little weird too. When he's on his pillow i've caught him on his back wedged between the wall and pillow with only his paws actually on the pillow. When he's on the new couches (his is the loveseat) he sinks in far and curls up with his nose shoved between the seat cushions. I don't know how he can breathe but he loves it.

We have a routine in our house that we just started 3 weeks ago.
The skin kids go up to brush their teeth and get ready for bed...once they say ..WE ARE READY...Nina runs to the gate to go upstairs...and tries to open it...i let her go and she starts 1st with the oldest one she jumps on her bed and smothers her with kisses...for her its the neck....THEN its my sons room..Nina jums on his bed and he gets licks on his ear lobes...then the youngest one who is usually sleeping by now...and Nina slobbers her neck...hands...any part that is bareLOL
Nina then runs downstairs and jums on te sofa...feet up...head on the pillow and bagins to snoore.....4 hours later daddy takes our out for her last pee and off to the warm and cozy crate that is full of baby blankets and a soft teddy bear to keep her company..
I say...our little Nina is spoiled rotten.LOL

Austin stays with me in bed until DH comes in, then he goes and sleeps on the couch. In the morning when DH gets up for work he comes back in!
