How horrible! I am also hoping this was just an accident. I have a degree in psychology and a minor in criminology and know that most killers (of humans) start out by killing animals. Hopefully, you don't have a future murderer lurking the streets of St. Louis looking for victims (canine or human).

(KSDK) - Police have been questioning a suspect in the hanging of a dog in a south St. Louis County park.

The boxer was found hanged from a slide in Clydesdale Park.

The suspect has not been charged, and police don't know if the incident is related to another dog hanging.

A husky mix was found hanged in Babler State Park last month.

I can't believe someone would deliberately do something so sick. I hope this person is caught. I can't even put into words how horrible this is. Poor baby!

Genetic Defect

I wish that people that cruelly torture/kill animals would be locked up indefinitely or to save money put to sleep. Almost all of the violent criminals especially murderers get started on animals and later work their way up to people. People that are compelled to do this sort of thing are way beyond any sort of rehabilitation. Just write the indivual off as genetic defect, or social defect (depending on your view of psychology) and send them where they belong. Nite Nite.

They just said on the news they have arrested the man, and can you believe this it was his own dog, poor little girl, if he did not want her he could give her up for adoption. They said he has threatened to kill her before. He is in jail with a $10.000.00 bond. I hope he rotes in Hell.

I am so glad they caught him. Why in the heck was the dog still with him if he has threatened to kill her before???? I just don't get it. It is just like DWI's. People will have 5, then kill someone, then they decide to put them in prison. Our system sucks! I am trying to calm myself by imagining that sweet girl happy now and running free with other boxers. Thanks for keeping us updated.

I can not get that poor little girl out of my mind. Every time I look at my big boy I just think about it over and over. I love our boxer so much I just can not think how some one can be so evil to do such a thing.

I was really hoping beyond hope that this was a senseless accident but I see it was a senseless act of cruelty. I can't believe how someone could do something like this to such a wonderful creature or any creature as far as that goes. I just bet that little girl was kidney beaning all the way to the park thinking she was going to have a happy day out with her dad. How Awful. :mad:

I heard a little about it on the news here tonight, but of course my news station said it was a pit bull, not that it matters the breed it's still terrible. They didn't say anything about catching the guy but they did mention the husky mix. I really wish people would realize if someone can do something like that to an animal they can easily do it to a person. At times like this I think eye for an eye is in order!
