You will always be my hero...always have been, always will be. I know I am supopsed to happy for you, but it is just a little tough right now. I cried this weekend like you were my very own son and in some ways I will always think of you as one of my own. But that's OK...cause you were lovable enough to belong to all of us. You sure had enough love in you to go around for all of us. I will remember the good times not the bad...like the first time I met you and within 30 minutes you seemed to have my house memorized and cruised through it like you had always been there. I will remember the way you sniffed out the birthday cake at GK's party and then sat beside it at the table like you were on "point", and we all laughed. I will remember how silly you and GK looked in those party hats...when the hats got turned sideways and you guys looked drunker than skunks and we all laughed. I will remember the boxing matching where you held your own against that young whippersnapper Jack Knowles..you were 10 years old and he was 2 but it mattered not...you gave it right back to him and we all laughed...I will remember your handsome face with ooey gooey cake frosting all over your nose and eyebrows at your last birthday party and we all laughed. But most of all you know I will remember the way you always used to "hump" my leg because you were always so happy to see me!! You KNOW we all laughed about that. I will miss you my friend but as I said, I choose to remember the love, laughter and good times shared with my hero. Godspeed Mr. B...We will always love you. Aunt Deb, Jack and Jaims

I'm at work and trying my hardest not to cry. I am so sorry for your loss. It sounds as though you will have many fond memories of Baxter. Rest assured that there will be several of us lighting a candle in Baxter's memory tonight. I will say a special prayer for all of you. I wish you peace.

It has been several months since we first started communicating about Baxter and Cody’s similar problems. I wish I would have gotten as much time out of Cody as you did Baxter but it just wasn’t meant to be.
I love reading your posts and I am sorry there will be no more positive updates, but you truly did everything you could for him!
I am glad he is running free and I am excited that we will get to see them again free of pain.

Its never easy and so hard to say good bye to our wonderful ,silly, crazy,loving,smart,and very loyal friend. You knew in your heart it was time to end his suffering and that was your unselfish gift to your wonderful boy. Baxter is now Free from his illness no longer in any pain, running and playing with all the other wonderful beloved furbabies at the bridge who came to welcome their new playmate and friend.
Wishing for friends to comfort you in your time of sorrow, Faith to up hold you and keep you strong, Wishing you comfort in knowing that he is in a wonderful place, Wishing you many many wonderful memories of the times that you and your family shared with Baxter.
