Baxter is definitely not a hippie

I used to LOVE to burn incense and candles all of the time. when i had the skin kids i put the stuff away and havent had it out since. Tonight, the skin kids went to my parents house to sleep over and when we got home i took out all of my incense and lit a stick along with 6 or 7 candles. Then we went outside to let the dogs potty. When we were ready to come in, Baxter refused to come in the house. We coaxed him in and he went balistic. He ran around and acted really upset. Needless to say, he doesnt like the incense and i had to put it away again! :(

My ex-bf's cousin...used to live with us, burned incense all the time. I absolutely hated them because it was the real thick smelling, heavy smoke kind. Well Herkie hated them too, always made him sneeze, so whenever Herkie was inside he wasn't allowed to burn them. After all, it was his house!

Rocky & Mia can handle one incense stick or a candle burning but not both. They do like the candles better, perhaps you can find a patchouli candle.
I love to have the scent of incense in the house, but just the lighter ones...I cannot handle the heavy stuff either.

Mine aren't too keen on incense either.But I 've found some of those candle tarts in "Cranberry Chutney" ,Pooh puts her nose up in the air and just goes sniffing room to room. It smells sooooooo good-yankee candle makes it. I have some patchouli ,too-love it, love it,love it. In the bathroom I have some patchouli soaps,came from amish country,it scents my whole upstairs-I just have to keep them up high-Dozer lies them too-caught him running downstairs one day with the box Guess he just wanted to smell good,too!
