Aimee - I know what you mean about having a well mannered dog. Riley normally (he's at his rebellious stage right now 
) is a very well behaved boy out in public. He's still got some learning to do with the down command, but about 95% of the time, he fights the urge to jump.
You said you're envious of people who get to bring their doggies to work, well you're not alone!! I would LOVE to bring my boy to work with me, but they won't have any of that. :( I get to bring him in for short visits, but not during the actual working time.

Isn't it wonderful to be able to bring your baby to work with you!
Luckily, I can bring mine to work anytime I want to (I manage a vet's office ). That's one of the benefits of the job, I can bring my children :D

I was taking my foster pup, Gretta, to work with me every day until she got adopted last week. She just slept on her blanket on my desk all day. I also took Chewy to work with me on his birthday, and he was such a good boy. I can pretty much take one of my pups to work anytime. There's only 3 employees in my section of the building, and nobody minds.

Aimee, Baxter is like one of those people that you meet once in a lifetime who make you feel like a different person after meeting them. I truly feel lucky to have met him and can't wait to share his "specialness" with anyone who will listen....
