Baxter came to work with me today

As I type, Baxter is snooring away on the floor in my office :D I now envy all of you who can frequently take your boxers to work with you. I can barely get anything done though with the crowds of people who keep coming in to love on him, then of course there are those that avoid us like the plague . Finally he is now tuckered out, my door is shut and I am getting some work done. We are taking a short road trip this morning and my boss allowed me to bring him in for a half a day so that I didn't have to use a whole day of leave. Baxter has such manners that it makes me so proud! Nothing compares to a well trained dog :p

doggie days

When we first got our puppy, she came to work with me all the time. I work at a college so lots of students came in and out to shower her with lovin'. My brother, who is a junior here, would take her for hours at a time because she's a "chic magnet." However, she got bigger and louder and my boss gave me the "no dogs in the office" talk. So sad. I miss my baby so much, especially the cheer she brought to my office and the students. In other words, I know exactly how you feel!

Today would have been a good day to sneak Tex into the office. Lots of folks are out due to the thanksgiving holiday.
