Barking?

Our dog will not stop barking. We don't know what else to do. It is a constant bark. We give him lots of attention as it is. He does not want us to watch t.v., talk to other people in person or on the phone and working on the computer. We sometimes put him in his crate when his barking gets out of control. Any ideas would be exceptionally helpful. Thank you!

I know I have read here that when you want to stop your dog from barking all the time to teach him when to bark! Try using the search button on top right.

You need to ignore him when he barks if you give him any kind of attention then he is getting what he wants. He has learnt that if he barks he gets your attention even if its to stick him in his crate. Just totally ignore him, no eye contact nothing when he stops barking give him lots of attention and praise then he might get the message. You might also want to teach him the QUIET command.
