Ball Obsession

I notice that Boxers are OCD anyways mine are about the food dishes they eat from and they have 3 certain balls they have to have. My male likes balls so much he steals them from other peoples yards. He will put them down to eat and isnt as bad as yours but yes I have seen 2 boxers run with 1 ball in the mouths.

Ms. Ali is a fanatic about her ball. As a matter of fact I just took hers and put it away until next playtime. I started training her to give it back when we are finished playing on the field then when we come home I show her where her ball goes until next time. I tell her playtime is over. She is fine with that. She was perplexed first but I insisted and now she knows her playtime with her ball is over and there'll be another time. As well it shows her that I am in control of her and her ball but that she will get it back again so she has no fear of my keeping it. She can be possessive of it with other dogs around but at the same time she likes to carry it in her mouth and have another dog chase her. Hope I could be of some help. Good Luck.
