Bad Parents??

During Thanksgiving, I had to board Yankee (6 mo old pup) and now he seems REALLY upset with us. He stayed at the vets from Tues – Sat. My friend (who also has a boxer pup) picked him up on Sat. as we were not returning until Sun. and the vet is closed. Do you think he is mad from being passed around? I know he had a good time with my friend’s boxer. They did however eat about 10 brownies between them!! The vet was called & he said that they did not consume enough to cause any problems. I also did a chocolate search here and most have said that it has to be a large amount.

I feel better about the chocolate deal but, do you think he could really be mad at us. He just moped around last night and did not eat or play. (Yes I will be watching him for any more signs of sickness and will go to the vet if needed) Do ya’ll think he could be heartsick?

I would think that change in his routine and being away from you guys might make him act a little different. Also, he may have not gotten enough brownie to do serious damage, but he still may be feeling an upset tummy.
As you said, I would just keep an eye on him, give him some special attention and lovin' and he will be back to himself in no time.

Well - Mr. Yankee is back to his old self again. He just can't get enough of us now. He is on our heals like we are going to leave him. I just love him!!!!

I really think he was upset with us! Boxers are so funny!

I posted some new pictures of him - check them out. I think he is just beautiful (did I say that). He is growing up way too fast!!

I'm glad to hear he's feeling better. Whenever I pick Basil up from being boarded, he's real excited to see me until we get in the car. Then, he just turns his back to me like he's upset. By the time we get home, he's over it

Glad to hear he is doing better. I have to board Tug's quite a bit because of my travel schedule. I found a place that does a lot of playtime, and they love him there. He gets special treatment.

I think he has more fun there then at home. I do know that when I was gone and he was with daddy he moped around more then he does when he is boarded.
