This is kinda silly. I had Loke and the skin kids out and about the other day in our van. The middle row of seats had been taken out a week ago for another purpose, so she had the whole inside to herself between me and the kids on the back seat. Well, we are at the red light waiting to turn into the main gate here on post and I hear growling and a bark. I turn around and Loke is standing with her head between the side window and the baby's car seat growling at the motorcycle behind us. She did that all the way home, even after he wasn't behind us anymore. She is not a barker, but she was growling with the hair on her back raised and every so often would let out a woof! at this guy. I don't know what she was thinking. Was pretty funny and Jennifer got a kick out of it!

You know she has never done that, my mom says she may have thought he was an alien since he had funny looking head(helmet)!!

Samson

Boxer Pal
My Boxer has been raised around motorcycles, myself and all my friends are avid riders. However in the past two weeks Samson has decided he hates motorcycle helmets. If he sees one he will stand about three feet away and bark and grunt at it till someone moves it. And if the shield is up and you close it while he is barking at it he runs away from it and back to it multiple times while barking. It's kinda funny when you realize that they have always been laying around the house but it's just recently that he decided they weren't to his liking.

We also ride, so our dogs are around motorcycles, but Bailey does the same thing. I have to laugh at her. She'll stand up tall in the back of the SUV and bark at bikes behind us. She was up front once, standing on the console, barking at the bikes in front of us.
None of us are Harley fans, and it seems to be the nosy, obnoxious Harleys that get her worked up the most! :p

We knew some people who owned a race shop and also had a boxer. We walked in one day still wearing our helmets and their boxer backed up and barked at us (we'd met her before). The owners said when she was a pup, their son would put on his helmet and chase her around the house.

Britany loves motorcycles! She too knows the sound of the Harley means Dad is home.
She even knows the difference between my Harley and Dads. She gets really mad if he thinks he should take my bike for a ride.
A couple weeks ago my oil light was on so we took it to the shop and the mechanic went to start the bike and I said just a minute let me get ahold of her. She will lunge at you and let you know you should not be touching moms bike. She is that way about everything of mine. Sure enough I wasnt quick enough and she jumped at him barking and letting him know to leave that harley alone.
She has her own trailer which we pull her in behind Dads bike and she loves the wind. She stays out to about 40 or so.
She also gets mad if she is left home!
