This weekend im sitting a english bull dog, i have a 1 year old and may i say very spunky boxer. My dog is spoiled rotton and isnt used to mommy and daddys loving on other dogs in front of him.
My question to ya'll is do you think its a bad idea to sit the bulldog?
Im afraid if i leave to do somthing tomorrow rocky will bother the dog. My dog is extrmely playful and the bulldog is fat and older.
Just seeing what ya'll think of the situation, oh yeah also THEY ARE BOTH MALES would that be a problem?
THANKS :)

Are they crate trained?

They could both stay in their crates while you're gone. That seems like the easiest solution to me if they are both crate trained...

They may get along just fine. I wouldn't want to leave them alone together until I had observed them for a while. Could you shut one of them in a separate room?

Have your dog and Miller interacted previously? Personally I would not offer to "sit" for a dog that I didn't have previous knowledge of how mine would receive the visitor. If they haven't already met, perhaps you could try introducing them in nuetral territory first. My boxer welcomes other dogs for play in our yard, but our lab does not welcome the intrusion. It will be a long weekend if it turns out there is a personality conflict between your dog and Miller.
