My little girl is 5 months old. I feed her eucanuba puppy chunks and Nutro Max ultra moist food. Both of which do not smell all that good, but what concerns me is that her breath smells like rotten fish. I don't understand where this could be coming from. Her teeth are in great condition and I clean her cheeks after she eats.
My 2 year old Dachshund who eats the adult version of what she does and his breath does not stink like hers.Could the fish smell be a sign of something more serious or am I just being overly sensative about doggie breath?

Put her on a better, high quality kibble and the problem will go away.

Eukanuba is one of the worst dog foods on the market. Please do a search here on food and feeding and you'll find tons of useful information.

Bad breath can sometimes can indicate that there are stomach problem. A visit to the vet certainly wouldn't hurt. From my experience, fish breath indicates that the dog is very stressed. You might try feeding a different food, neither Eukanuba nor Nutro Max is great food.
