I have a 12 yr old son who likes to wrestle with our 8mo old girl Chloe. I have repeatedly told him, even though she is very active he needs to be careful with her. Yesterday he was playing with her and as she jumped on him she knocked him over and he fell on her. She seemed okay at first, but when it was time for her walk last night she could not squat in the right position to have a bm. The emergency hospital doctor said she is a very healthy dog and durable and should recover fine. I called our vet this morning and they agreed, but if she does not recover well in 48 hours to bring her in for x-rays. Has anyone ever had this happen? Poor little girl does not understand the funny weird feeling the medication gives her and our little 5 mo old Brutus does not understand why they cannot play Boxer NASCAR in the living room until she gets better.

Thanks for any comments!

Never mind, I think I solved my own problem. I found a chiroprator who does dogs. She will adjust her and is going to use a "cold laser" on her in the lumbar area.

Sorry to trouble anyone.

:)
